Wallingford Local Producers Market (WLPM) is held every Saturday morning from 10am to 12:30pm.
Markets are held in St Mary’s Church in the Centre of Wallingford (OX10 0EG). Usually our food stalls can be found outside with our craft stalls inside.
Please read the Trading Policy to find out more about how the market is run. All Stallholders agree to the Trading Policy when they sign the application form.
There is a new Covid-19 Risk Assessment for WLPM. Please ask for a copy of this from the Market Coordinator.
A stall usually means one table approximately 27 inches wide and 6 foot long, some stalls (like the veg stall) use more tables. Some stallholders prefer to bring their own tables and gazebos. Electricity is supplied in St Mary’s Church.
Stallholders are encouraged to bring their own gazebos and tables if they have them. WLPM hires a few tables and gazebos for stallholders to use when they attend.
Every stallholder is assigned a pitch for the market they are attending. The location of the pitch may vary from week to week according to the number of stalls at the market and space available.
Every Sunday the Market Coordinator sends out a list of stallholders who have provisionally booked into the market the following Saturday. The final list of confirmed stalls is sent out on Wednesday, and publicised in the Newsletter and through Social Media on Thursday and Friday.
The Market Coordinator will be at the market before 9am to open up and set out tables and gazebos. Stallholders are asked to arrive on time to set up their stall, comply with the Covid-19 Risk Assessment at all times, and clear up their stall quickly at the end of the market.
Market fees
Stall fees depend on size of the space hired at each market.
