Designs in glass

Debbie and Mark Warder make beautiful stained glass panels, dishes, coasters and other gifts all available at Wallingford Local Producers Market at most of the outdoor markets with occasional visits to the Regal Centre. Visit their website www.designs-in-glass.co.uk for more information about their work and further examples of their designs.

"Working from our home near Abingdon, we design and manufacture traditional and contemporary stained glass windows, also carrying out repairs and restoration to stained glass windows and lead lights.

Additionally, we produce our own range of decorative and functional kiln formed pieces.

These include dishes, coasters and platters some of which have metal inclusions making each individual piece unique due to the colouring processes that take effect whilst in the kiln, and others using a subtle mix of colourful opalescent and translucent glass to produce dishes, window hangings and pictures."

Lucienne de Mauny

Lucienne de Mauny brings her distinctive pottery including sweetheart bowls, jugs, pie dishes, commemorative plates and mugs as well as frost-resistant house signs to Wallingford Local Producers Market at least once a month. Check the Market Newsletter for her next date, or go to www.luciennedemauny.co.uk to see the range of products.

Lucienne has been potting professionally since 1982 after studying and working in England and Northern France.

She works at Blenheim Farm, with partner Anthony Fletcher, they work as a team largely to order.

Lucienne's high-fired earthenwares possess a rare unity of form and surface decoration. Her style is both fresh and distinctive. All pots have a purpose and each is hand-thrown and decorated with slips (liquid clay) using traditional techniques and tools.
